 Facts About Algonquin

1.  Algonquin Park is the oldest park in Ontario, Canada, being established a park in 1893

2.  It's one of the largest parks in Canada at approximately 2,950 square miles being 1 fifth the size of Switzerland

3.  It has lots of animals, for example: Bears, Foxes, Chipmunks, Wolves, Moose and Beavers

4.  Algonquin Park has a wide variety of trees, from deciduous to coniferous, there are lots there

5.  The park has many trails including the Whiskey Rapids Trail along the Oxtongue River
