Fishing

Fishing is the activity of trying to catch fish. Fish are normally caught in the wild. Techniques for catching fish include hand gathering, spearing, netting, angling and trapping. You can catch Lake Trout, Speckled Brook Trout, Smallmouth Bass, Largemouth Bass, Walleye and Northern Pike in Algonquin Provincial Park.
Hiking
Hiking is the preferred term, in Canada and the United States, for a long, vigorous walks, usually on trail or in the countryside, while the word walking is used for shorter, particularly urban walks. Some trails in the park are Bat Lake Trail and Mizzy Lake Trail.
Canoeing
A canoe is a lightweight narrow vessel, typically pointed at both ends and open on top, propelled by one or more seated or kneeling paddlers facing the direction of travel using a single-bladed paddle. Some of the bigger lakes in Algonquin are: Grand Lake, Manitou Lake, Lake Lavieille and Lake Opeongo.
