ukkusiksalik national park
ukkusiksalik national park covers almost 20,885 square kilometres of the Nunavut tundra. even though it is the smallest of the four national parks in Nunavut, it is the sixth largest in Canada, wood buffalo national park being the largest. the name ukkusiksalik means ''where the there is material for the stone pot.'' at the park you can do some fun activities like hiking, snowmobiling and sight seeing.
it is best to visit the park during the summer because the park is only open between the beginning of July and the end of august.
