Laws are designed to protect you and the park. It is your responsibility to be aware of these laws. There are a number of outdoor activities in Point Pelee National Park that require a permit. Camping is permitted in camp grounds only, the location can be found in the National park guide. Alcohol within the park is permitted only at registered campsites. All domestic pets must be kept on leash at all times. Bush party sites and random fires are a serious threat to the park. Fires are only permitted in a proper fire receptacle. No random fires are permitted in the park. Hunting is not permitted in Point Pelee. Please never ever touch or feed the animals!
