~Vittoria Trattoria: Two brothers,Cesare and Demenico Santaguida. opened their first restaurant in the heart of the Glebe. Being their first entry into the business, they knew they would need some help so they went to there inspiration. She gave the boys their love of cooking. Part of the business was the sister, Francesca, helping run the resaurant with development. They serve brunch, lunch, dinner and dessert all at amazing prices.
~Le Cafe: The National Arts Centre’s le café is happy to show you the amazing flavours and ingredients of Canada. Focusing on local ingredients, le café’s menu is a special experience that engages the senses. Experience our take on unique cuisine with dishes that will delight and inspire you.
~ Bar Laurel: Spanish inspired kitchen and bar in Ottawa offering authentic Spanish foods, extensive cocktails and a wine list focused on low intervention wines with a focus on Sherry and Vermut. They offer vegetarian friendly meals and many gluten free options.
~Town: Town is a small Italian with many amazing reviews saying that the food is wonderful and the atmosphere is very happy. They also mention not to forget to make reservation as it is very busy. It sounds like it is quite overpriced for small meals though.
~Fraser Cafe: They serve brunch, lunch, dinner + dessert! Well priced by the looks of it and it also recommended that you book a reservation. Not to much selection for food but you can see their entire menu online. Rated at 4.7 out of 5 stars.
~The Green Door: It's not you regular sit down restaurant sit down place. It's vegetarian + gluten free and has a very wide variety. Its menu is online which does include soups, hot foods, salads and desserts. You dish up yourself at the front and if you definitely want a table you should make reservations. Unfortunately you can only make reservations if your a party of over 5. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars.
