This lake is absolutely gorgeous! I highly recommend the Plain of Six Glaciers hike. It's not especially strenuous, and it offers amazing close-up views of the glaciers. If you pay attention, you'll be able to hear, and maybe see, the occasional avalanche. It gets really crowded, so arrive before 8:30am for easy parking and less competition for photo spots.
