 Vacation #1

 Two Day Family Vacation

INCLUDES

Hotel: Prince Albert Inn (see amenities and prices on hotels page).

Transportation: Enterprise Rental a Kia Rio Holds 3 or 4 people fits 4 Suitcases From Calgary 

​

Meals Day 1: Breakfast of Buttermilk pancakes or waffles at the Boreal Bistro.

​

Lunch of steamed shrimp salad rolls, Stir Fried Chicken on rice and the Vermichelli combo B (Stir fry, Chicken, Beef and Pork) at Asian Le. 

​

Dinner: of Mediterranean pesto pizza(Chicken, Feta Cheese, Mozzarella Cheese, Peppers and Oils) at The Rusty Owl.

​

Activitys: Go to a family friendly movie at the Galaxy Cinemas, then get some fresh air on the 2km, easy Boundary bog trail.

​

Day 2 Meals: Breakfast of savoury crepes (smoked salmon and capers) or the summer salad

(Cranberries, Mandrine orange, Tomatoes, Radishes and Balsamic dressing) at The Rusty Owl

(Opens at 10:30am).

​

Lunch: Since you will be at Batoche National Historic Site, you'll need to pack a picnic lunch.

So before you leave Prince Albert, be sure to stop at Safeway. You can choose from a variety of baked goods, produce and snacks. Prices may vary between stores.

​

Dinner: Spice it up at the Spice Trail, authentic East Indian food. Try the mildly spiced veggie or meat samosas 

Paneer Tika (Paneer cheese, onions, bell peppers marinaded over night then grilled in a Tandoori oven,

Aloo Gobi (Potatoes and cauliflower), Butter Chicken, butter Naan (Indian flatbread) and finish with Kheer (specially flavoured basmati rice pudding).

Day 2 activities: Spend a day exploring the historical site that led Louis Riel to his downfall. Rent a Canoe and explore the trails of 1885 and visit the historical village of Batoche

​
